Introducing our New Team Member

October 24, 2017

If you ring the Debt Recovery Bureau you may well hear a new voice on the phone. That voice belongs to Tony Smith, who recently joined us as a Senior Account Manager. His previous career consisted of banking, banking and yet more banking! Having risen to the illustrious heights of Branch Manager Tony decided he fancied a change of direction and chose to join us here, at DRB. Banking’s loss is our gain. In his heyday Tony loved to play Rugby and then trained as a referee. He escapes to the Peak District whenever he can and enjoys jetting off for a variety of holidays. Since joining us he has been to Spain, Tenerife and Ireland! Tony’s background in the highly regulated banking sector and his vast experience of dealing with customers make him an ideal fit with the rest of the DRB team. We are very pleased to welcome him on board.

The wider team which focuses on our debt collection cases is led by Managing Partner Neil Bowler. Neil manages our client relationships and is the go to person for client queries. In his spare time Neil is a bit of an adrenaline junkie, a triathlete and cyclist (particularly off-road) he loves being outdoors and challenging himself with gruelling swim/runs. When he holidays it is usually in Scotland where his idea of relaxation includes regular loch swims and long distance cycle rides!

Debbie Mynott joined the team a couple of years ago and her role includes marketing, website development, managing DRB’s social media, as well as developing relationships with current and potential clients. Her role is largely client facing, and she is here to help you, to sort new cases for you and to answer your queries. If you need anything, advice on bad debt, information on the progression of your debt recovery cases, information on our terms and conditions or how best to set up credit control procedures please get in touch with Debbie. She is the home bird on the team who loves reading, gardening and decorating and as she lives near the office she has started walking or cycling to work. She has also taken up open water swimming and dreams of moving to Cornwall to live by the sea.

The rest of the team is made up of Account Managers who deal with our customers in order to recover your money for you. Key amongst these is Sam Hollis, our other Senior Account Manager.   Sam loves long distance running and is a doting father.

If you need any help or advice please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the Debt Recovery Bureau team on 0800 440 2359 or email Debbie on
